Project Submissions

THE SUBMISSIONS LINK IS ONLY ACCESSABLE WHILE ON CAMPUS and not from any other off-site location.

Important points to consider before your submissions

• Make sure all your submissions (projects, assignments, documents, etc) that needs to be uploaded is "zipped" in a .zip file.
• Make sure you have read the submissions inbstructions carefully and correctly named each submission as instructed.
• If the submission is a raw DAW project (Pro Tools, Cubase, Reason, etc) first copy the project with its individual files into a new folder and test if it opens correctly with not indications of any missing files or links.
• Make sure your submissions are original and your own work. You will NOT get any marks if found guilty of plagiarism.
• Make sure you upload your submissions under the correct submission URL.
• Make sure the submission process has completed successfully before you close the browser window.
• Any late submissions won't be possible to upload. If your submission is not uploaded it will not show and will not be marked.

Submission Procedures

• Make sure you are connected to the local network (either from a local workstation or campus wi-fi)
• Enter the Submissions portal by clicking on the "SUBMIT NOW" link on the bottom of this page
• Login with your username and Password
• Go to your relevant course and look for the specific assignment or project  and click on the title.
• Read the instructions and make sure you submit as specified.
• Cick on the "Add Submission" button - the submissions uploa box will appear.
• Click on the "Add.." text link to bring up the upload dialog box
• Click on the "browse" button and select your correctly named .zip file and upload the file.
• After file has successfully uploaded click on "Save Changes"
• Please note that you can delete and re-upload any submission before the deadline.
• After the submission's deadline you will not be able to upload any submissions.
• Should there be any problems with your submission you will be notified by the managing lecturer.
• Submissions marks will be updated on S-I-M-S on the date as specified in the instruction.
